NHCHM is a device with five screens mounted on stands, where the universe of images we live with is explored. JPGs, MP4s, animated GIFs, text files, spam, memes. Formats that challenge us, modify us, and make our subjectivity interactive; they have even become organically incorporated into our minds and memories.
What images are shown to us, why are they created, and what effect do they have on our way of thinking and seeing the world? Imagination, cyberspace, metaspace, and memories are constantly being formed and deformed, merging into this new thing that is still indecipherable to us, which calls Humanism into question.
Quoting the Laboria Cuboniks collective in their Xenofeminist manifesto: "We are all alienated," but have we ever been any other way? The interpellation of nature leaves a trace that symbiotically binds technology and humanity.
