Starting from self-interrogation as an artistic practice, from dragging as a symbolic strategy, from understanding time as a metamorphic tool of space, the possibility of breaking into any "blank" territory unfolds. By exercising tolerance in the face of the challenge of the irreversibly temporal, this work is understood as an inexhaustible process, a dissociative experience between the physical and the mental.

“The Space Left Over by the Time I Didn’t Use” is part of a piece that collects the leftover pencil leads, that unusable piece because the pencil's mechanism prevents its use. This work represents exactly what its title indicates, referring to the collection of excess leads that accumulates from methodically and mechanically writing the word “boredom” in blank notebooks. Contained within this methodical effort, in the routine of systematically repeating the same action, is the process of dragging the word out as a way of questioning it.

This work invites us to observe and reflect on the limits of tolerability, as a way of inhabiting the limit of the infinite (in-finite).
