Time Containers / Action to un-waste time
Un-wasting time is a way of re-signifying time through a symbolic action. Un-wasting time does not mean gaining it but NON-wasting it. This thought implies a constant task through which we try to revalue the use of time. "Acquired freedom implies a great responsibility"[1] and being aware of the use of time is also a responsibility.
Time Containers is a work that starts from the uncertainty of this acquired freedom and the use of time as time for production, for work. The containers are blank, intervened notebooks that metaphorise the "loss of time" through eternalised processes. The fact that it is an infinite work, or at least without a pre-established final number of notebooks, is a way of questioning "the passage of time" through accumulation and repetition.

Contenedores de tiempo / Acción para desperder el tiempo
Desperder el tiempo es una forma de resignificar el tiempo a través de una acción simbólica. Desperder el tiempo no significa ganarlo sino NO-perderlo. Este pensamiento implica una tarea constante mediante la cual se intenta revalorizar el uso dell tiempo. “La libertad adquirida implica una gran responsabilidad”[1] y ser conscientes del uso del tiempo también lo es.
Contenedores de tiempo es un obra que parte de la incertidumbre ante esta libertad adquirida y ante el uso del tiempo como tiempo de producción, de trabajo. Los contenedores son libretas en blanco intervenidas que metaforizan la “pérdida de tiempo” mediante procesos eternizados. El hecho de ser una obra infinita, o al menos sin un número de libretas final preestablecido es una forma de cuestionar “el paso del tiempo” a través de la acumulación y la repetición.
