Mnémic
Mnémica is a project that contemplates and reflects on the essence and substantiality of memory. These works are an anamnestic process that deconstructs the individual in order
to establish connections and collective constellations.
Memories are not unalterable or immutable copies, they are not even the same as themselves. They are superimposed traces that cross each other like a palimpsest, a draft with multiple registers translated into signs.
These anaemic traces also have inscriptions and transcriptions that are alien to the subject of this memory, brief interventions by others that make up the essence of these memories.
The term anamnesis is understood as knowledge as remembering or as a dialogue of the soul with itself. It refers us to the presence of past forms or events, and how, from the present, they shape the potential of the immanent.
Mnémica is conceived with three pieces: an installation, an audio station and a photo.
MNEMICA
Mnémica es un proyecto que contempla y pone en escena reflexiones sobre la esencia y sustancialidad de la memoria. Plantea en su cuerpo de obras un proceso anamnésico que deconstruye lo individual para establecer conexiones y constelaciones colectivas.Los recuerdos no son copias inalterables o inmutables, no son iguales siquiera a si mismos. Son huellas superpuestas que se cruzan como un palimpsesto, un borrador con registros múltiples traducidos en signos.Estas huellas anémicas, además tienen inscripciones y transcripciones ajenas al sujeto de esa memoria, breves intervenciones de los otros que conforman la esencia de esos recuerdos.El término anamnesis está entendido como el saber como un recordar o como diálogo del alma consigo misma. Nos remite a la presencia de formas o hechos ya pasados, y a cómo desde el presente éstos conforman el potencial de lo inmanente.Mnémica está concebida con tres piezas: una instalación, una estación de audio y una foto.
